This one’s also a headcanon. As I haven’t read The Lost Hero yet, I’m still stuck in that blissful period when I think that Percy’s next summer won’t be about life-and-death situations. Alas, I imagined a capture-the-flag where Percy suffers some minor injuries, and for some unfathomable reason, catches a cold. As he becomes unbearable (just the courtesy of being a man, he whines about everything and imagines his death at every second before he sneezes), the whole camp with Chiron agrees that they should go against the rules and let Annabeth and Percy bed together. So Annabeth takes care of the big baby and does her work on Daedalus’ laptop when he’s sleeping; in return, Percy  sometimes acts as an octopus, hugging Annabeth while he’s asleep.

So I got it in my head this morning to draw this scene. Where Valentine tells Sebastian why his mother is gone. I wanted it to be authentic so I got @CassieClare to write the dialog! 

So.. totally canon scene right here. This is how it went down.
